The scene of this book is set with a look at the early history of the company, with pre war models such as the Kappa, Lambda, on to the Aprilia and post war Aurelia and Flavia, though the focus is on Fulvia and in particular the HF. The book offers a very good reference work, recording the history of the model, its triumphant competitive career obtained with the racing version, the Fulvia HF, technical information and coverage of rare models such as the 1.3 S Safari coupe, Dunja by Carrozzeria Coggiola and Lancia F&M, along with a restoration guide. There is also good coverage of the other models within the Fulvia range, 2C, GT, GTE, and the Coupe produced directly by Lancia, and the Sport, designed and built by Zagato. Both can be counted among the masterpieces of Italian automotive industry of the sixties. With the use of excellent photographs illustrating the cars and also covering production methods, full specification details are given along with dimension drawings, chassis number details, and production numbers and a record of rally achievements 1965 to 1974.
