Theme Lotus - 1956 - 1986: From Chapman to Ducarouge

This is the revised and expanded edition of the original 1978 first edition. The book initially devotes a chapter to each model starting with the Lotus 12 through to the Lotus 98T. The chapters then turn to; Colin Chapman, Designers and Designing, Gerard Ducarouge and Peter Warr. The appendices give a brief summary of the specification of each model. Theme Lotus 1956 to 1986, therefore, is a book about the achievements of people as well as their cars, and above all a tribute to the memory of Colin Chapman, who made such an indelible impact on the international motor racing scene during his all too short life.
