Pininfarina Master Coachbuilder

Pinin Farina started at around 1930 as a conventional coachbuilder but evolved over the next thirty years into a designer or one might almost say into an automobile architect, producing in his own style, body designs for a number of different motor car manufacturers. Michael Frostick, in his inimit¬able way, and with the cooperation of Pinin's son Sergio Pininfarina, shows the evolution of this design house. From the stunning early designs which clothed such chassis as the pre war 6c and 8c Alfa Romeo range, through Lancia and Fiat, the book offers a fine pictorial reference work, which continues through to the early post war period, with designs for Bentley and Ferrari.
